Hi, I’m Rachel!

I’m an energetic and magnetic creative strategist and community builder whose work is focused on human-centered storytelling for brands and entrepreneurs. This often takes the form of photography, social media strategy, and brand marketing services.

Using my background as a curious and insightful journalist, I am passionate about bringing refreshing authenticity and real, human stories to digital and social media experiences.

Over the last 15 years, I have worked with a variety of brands, such as National Geographic Traveler, Allrecipes, Thrillist, The Kitchn, Shipt, Simple Mills and many others, as well as passionate and dynamic entrepreneurs who want to bring their digital presence to life through impactful social media strategies and engaging visual content.

Off the screen, I focus much of my time on building community in real life, and sharing my journey of building adult friendships from scratch on my Instagram.

About RC Creative

After working in-house for brands like Allrecipes and 425 magazine, I launched my consulting business, RC Creative, in 2019, where I work with brands and entrepreneurs who prioritize showing up on social media digital spaces authentically, and want to build genuine connection with audiences.

Using a people-forward approach, I build strategies and content that help my clients see social media as a brilliant tool that connects with people on a human level, rather than an anonymous, cold, and stuffy marketing machine.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve felt compelled to share informative, entertaining, and memorable content with others. From a newsletter I started in fifth grade to studying journalism at the University of Missouri, social media, digital marketing, and brand storytelling are in my blood and are a huge part of my personal and professional life.

With 15+ years of experience, I turn my passion for community and connection into authentic content that drives consumers to take action.
